With mirrorless cameras now supporting the ability to have interchangeable lenses, which seem to largely appeal to the prosumer market, it wouldn't exactly be a surprise to see big camera companies such as Nikon or Canon to start venturing down that road. After all, it was only a year ago that Nikon's president revealed that the company was working on a concept camera that may or may not use a mirrorless system, much like the Micro Four Thirds favored by Olympus, or Sony's NEX series.
