The NFL lockout is finally over. Once the technicalities are settled and the appropriate signatures are put on paper, training camps will open. Soon after that, the NFL preseason will begin and there will be football in America once again!
When the owners voted on the new collecting bargaining agreement, the vote was 31-0. The missing vote? The Oakland Raiders decided not to vote instead of voting against it.
The players haven’t officially voted yet but that is a mere formality. The players in charge of the CBA negotiating like the deal and the rest of the union will follow in line.
As it turned out, this was a rather mild lockout. When it came down too it, there was too much money to split for either side to hold firm and risk losing actual NFL games.
