Rumor: Samsung to release 5.3″ tablet phone device

Is it a tablet or a phone? You decide, especially when said device has 5.3″ of viewing real estate – which are all touch sensitive, of course. This is just a rumor at the moment, where we have heard whispers of Samsung working on a new device that will end up between the Galaxy S range of smartphones alongside the Galaxy Tab family of tablets.

It seems that this fabled device is set to make a debut at the IFA trade show in Berlin this coming September. 5.3″ might be a tad too uncomfortable to fit into your pocket, but it is definitely a whole lot more portable compared to other larger tablet devices. Too bad additional information that would send reporters scrambling for news such as the operating system of choice, processor or screen resolution are unavailable.
